Dr. Maceline Check
DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Dr. Maceline Check, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in psychiatric care, primary care, emergency response, and medical-surgical nursing. With extensive experience caring for patients across a variety of settings, she is committed to providing safe, compassionate, and individualized care.
Dr. Check has extensive experience in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, counseling, and crisis intervention, as well as managing acute and chronic medical conditions. Her background includes behavioral health, correctional healthcare, telepsychiatry, emergency care, and military medicine. She also brings experience caring for critically ill patients in medical-surgical, telemetry, and ICU stepdown settings.
Known for her compassionate and nonjudgmental approach, Dr. Check believes every patient is unique and deserves to feel safe, heard, and respected. She emphasizes collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide thoughtful care while supporting each patient's physical and mental well-being.
